New Moon in Leo ☾ As above, so below
New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo - August 21, 2017
The time has come for BIG change. We are finally in the culmination vortex that we may have previously experienced premonitions, dreams or visions of. The ingredients of this mix are potent ones, full of magic and encouraging boosts of creative support from the universe, your new friends and influencers who have entered into this new realm with us.
The eruption and pending release of unnecessary behaviors, addictions, relationships and longings purges excess baggage so we may step into our full potential and begin to occupy our higher selves. If we are feeling burdened by our attachments, triggers or intense emotions, let us make space to stop and stick our feet in the dirt or grass. Let us melt under a canopy of guardian trees. Let us rest ourselves in solitude and ease. Let us prepare for the vast unknown which is right around the corner like an impending stampede. These are not silly, hippy, metaphysical practices. Connecting with nature and our inner selves fundamentally restores our life force.
The violence around and inside us continues, as the deep wounds of our collective are purged and buzzing like an imploding hornets nest. Evil is intelligent. Demons of hate, lack, addiction, co-dependance and shame have each created their own manipulative structures, many which interact in an unseen web of parasitic toxicity and residue and go back generations to the roots of our ancestors. These demons wear the masks of US and feed off any energy willing to engage in victimhood, power struggles, emotional, physical and spiritual violence, gas lighting, entitlement, blame and co-dependance. If we engage incorrectly, we empower the manipulative effects of these forces, allowing our good energies to be drained out. This does not mean to avoid confrontation when there is an opportunity for truth-telling, compassion, healing and listening, but rather to hold self-awareness in our approach and holding space for others to express their truths in whatever form they decide is best for them. We cannot do someone else's work but we can absolutely work together in dismantling false belief systems and structures of ignorance.
The nature of shadow is absence of form or wholeness. We are each made of shadow and light. Let us uncover the shadow within. Many of us may have a sinking feeling waaaay in the back of our minds somewhere, that if we peel back too many layers of our anxiety onion, we will find maggots and scorpions underneath waiting to decay and destroy us. Eek! We must understand the inevitability of this truth. This feeling IS the violence within and it IS the violence we are witnessing 'out there'. This is the deep knowing that something is wrong and if it is not handled with an active practice of sustainable acceptance, we have no chance of helping to heal the BIG demons we see hiding behind the masks of men with torches. As above, so below.
If we are white and see life through a mask of privilege and supremacy, it is our responsibility to inventory our own histories and choices. It is our responsibility to educate ourselves on how we embody privilege and supremacy in our daily decisions, identities and beliefs. It is simply not possible for these foundational systems of oppression to not be integrated into our lifestyles. In what ways might we avoid consciousness around our anxieties, entitlements, opinions and avoidance? How may we be avoiding confrontation with ourselves, ancestors, friends or family members? More judgement will only spin the cycle of the anxiety onion deeper so how can we learn to face these discomforts with grace? Let us call on our spirit guides and inner warriors to face these parts of self and other with courage and humility. Let us be mindful of responding with urgency and always defaulting to our intuitive knowing, basing all decisions on the energy of love.
We are perceiving a split between conscious worlds: one trapped in the agony of separation and clinging desperately to past pattern; and another emerging way of being in presence, wholeness and awareness to the responsibility of being human and walking the earth together. On one hand, we may find ourselves rightfully outranged, grieving, sad and angry at all the injustice, both in our private lives and the world at large. On the other, we may be experiencing great change, with opportunities and creativity flooding on this new jet stream wave of higher level consciousness and communication with like-minds and new connections occurring in psychic precision at lightning speed.
As we toggle between these, we have an immense and divinely timed opportunity to embrace our full selves in all glories, delusions, faults, perfectionisms, imperfections and the courage it takes to witness such complexity within and within others. We cannot truly love if we only love a part or piece. This is shadow work at it's culmination--a loving embrace of all things, just as they are. We are not one dimensional beings and this time is about integrating the world of form with the world of spirit, so we may truly serve on this earth plane. We must be connected to each other and to the planet in order to do this work.
What is done to anyone is done to everyone. Let us bridge these worlds and wounds together as if there was only one path, one soul, one love. We have the space now to really see, integrate and up level. As we walk into the unknown together let us keep our friends close and the enemies inside ourselves we have been at war with for eons, closer. Let us peer into the souls of our fears and wake up to the vast, bold presence behind the veil of illusion. Freedom is ours if we are willing to do the scariest work of all; facing ourselves.
