Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces ☾ Getting Over Ourselves
Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces Sept 16 2016
♡This past year of eclipse cycles has had many of us on a journey to face and heal our deepest wounds. If we have gone willingly--and perhaps unwillingly ;) into the shadows, we have grown exponentially and transformed. This time can mark an ending of an old way of understanding and the beginning of a new way of being in life, seeing with new eyes. The house of cards we have built with our projection, fantasy, control, fear, longing and imagination has fallen and all we have lost, wept and grieved for is irreversible. It is past. If we are still working at not being swept away by victimhood, longing or loneliness, let us remember that what these waves of emotion need is acceptance, not resistance and fear. Let us coast these waves with creativity, compassion and a strong knowing that the wave will crash and become smaller next time, if we can love it and see it as ours. We can always find our way back to love, so there is nothing lost if we rest here in this negative space with ease, until it moves on, of its own accord. Let us not linger here indefinitely but gently, with prayer and forgiveness in our hearts, asking for guidance and grace.
Life is not here to serve our limited stories and expectations and if we can respect the cycles of life and death within us, we can receive initiation to better care for others and the needs of the collective. Getting over ourselves and learning karmic lessons is no easy feat however it is surprisingly full of feeling unlimited, wondrous and whole, on a much deeper, cellular level than we could've possibly imagined from our previous state. This is a gift of humility and receptivity to something greater than ourselves. Let us know this joy in growth and honor the gifts that lie in laughter, mundane beauty and daily obligations. Let us be here more now than we've ever been, over our ideas of self and into a new celebration of life as it is, in dedication to allowing ourselves to be utterly devastated over and over again by the infinite miracle of life in the Now, available to all of us, all the time.
