This full moon in Sagittarius brings an excellent opportunity to release notions of shame or "you/I should've known better" by dealing with them directly. This illusion of separation can have us up in arms with each other: pointing fingers; feeling bad; and forgetting to set energetic boundaries.
We must revisit the theme of self-care and how that looks specifically in situations where we feel wronged by others. Many of us are feeling quite tested in relationships to partners, family, money, clients etc, so it is imperative to recognize our responsibility in caring for the self first and regarding this as THE priority if we are to continue bringing the energy of love to our lives and communities.
The energy of love is expansive, forgiving and unconditional. If we feel defensive, attacked, confused, taken for granted or otherwise victimized, let us look at the choices we made which brought us to this point, WITHOUT JUDGEMENT. We must be willing to observe our behaviors which allow forces outside of ourselves to deplete our feelings of goodness, loving intention, freedom and ease.
We must also give ourselves time to sit with emotions that arise when we realize we have been creating our own victimization by not tuning in to our intuition, not being direct with people about our needs, saying yes when we wanted to say no, and otherwise not standing up and speaking up for ourselves for fear of retaliation, shame, scorn, manipulation, etc. Hint: beating ourselves up improves nothing and beating ourselves up for beating ourselves up creates even more repression and shame. Let us bring sensations of unconditional love to our bodies as we watch these tendencies like a hawk.
If we feel triggered by insanity around us, let us be mindful of impulsive bolts into old addictions, escapes and blaming others for decisions we made. Shadow work is becoming aware of the underlying things that are felt in any situation but that remain unregarded, unsaid, or lost in a mix of other emotional patterns. To allow these things to surface and shine in the light of day takes courage, faith in a friendly universe and trust that we are worthy of living in truth.
The results will bring infinite gifts that keep on giving for all the years to come for everyone involved. So let’s not stress and repress! Let’s instead tune into how we really feel. Let’s look up and invite in goodness. Let’s be heard. Let’s be strong. Let’s live in truth with unconditional compassion and forgiveness for all blindness.
